For the 22nd consecutive year, a celebration of a singular and unique art form will take place here in the Twin Cities. The Midwest Comic Book Association is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization devoted to the recognition, appreciation, and preservation of the art of the comic book. Our annual two-day SpringCon Comic Book Convention is an event for people throughout the Upper Midwest. Fans young and old have the opportunity to meet and visit with creators, writers, and artists of independent, alternative, nationally- and internationally-known comics such as Superman, Batman, Justice League, and many others. Special events will include a show of collectibles and comic art with examples from some of the masters of the craft, as well as educational Q&A panels with professional artists and retailers. The annual charity auction will feature comic art donated by guest artists, with proceeds going to local and national charities. Live bands will perform daily. Grab bags will be given out to the first several hundred attendees, and door prizes will be awarded all weekend long. Comic dealers from across the Upper Midwest will have collectibles available ranging from investment-grade comics to that first issue of Spider-Man you read as a kid. PulpFest 2010 continues the proud tradition of a summer pulp con, now in its 39th year. A new and improved version of the venerable convention for fans and collectors of vintage popular fiction and related material returns to Columbus, Ohio in 2010. Following the resounding success of the inaugural PulpFest, the 2010 show will be bigger and better. Sellers of pulp magazines, digests, vintage paperbacks, and other paper collectibles will find a larger dealers’ room while those members partaking of the evening presentations will be able to enjoy an expanded programming area.

The Dragonflight Convention started in 1980 and is one of the longest running gaming conventions in the Pacific Northwest. This event gathers together more than 500 players and GMs to play in or run some 300 events spread over three days in August. Here is a list of what we offer: Board games, Role-playing, RPGA, Miniatures, LARP (Live Action Role-playing), Networked Computer Games, Card games, Seminars, An auction featuring all kinds of gaming collectibles, Vendors from around the Seattle area, including Game Stores, Game Companies, Artists, Online Magazines, and other resources that are related to gaming.
