We are a fandom oriented convention focusing on Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Gaming, and Anime. Our goal is to bring the very best of what these cultures have to offer to Northwest Arkansas to bring the local fandom communities together and provide the very best in entertainment for our attendees while raising money for our charity of choice. This year’s charity is the NorthWest Arkansas Rape Crisis Center. Northwest Arkansas Rape Crisis Center provides a safe haven of healing and hope to those affected by sexual violence and to constantly work towards a safer future for all through education and awareness. Since 1982, our mission-driven work has offered free, comprehensive support to survivors of sexual assault while actively addressing the individual and community hurt caused by those who perpetrate.

With the help of our community, we hope to expand the growth of the Japanese, Asian, and pop culture industries in our area. This is a growing industry in our country, and we are hoping we can make North Carolina and the south eastern USA one of the leading areas. We hope with our event that we can possibly provide a way to network, conduct business, and also make lifetime friends.

In a nutshell, Nijicon is a "yaoi/slash/BL(Boys’ Love)" convention. However, Nijicon is a bit different than other yaoi conventions. We are a non-profit organization that is dedicated to highlighting the portrayals, influence, and increasing presence of homosexual couples in comics, movies, television, and other visual medium. We also wish to encourage dialogue and conversation between fans of yaoi and the LGBT community. *Although this is predominantly a "yaoi/slash/BL/malexmale" convention, we are completely LGBT friendly. We welcome everyone!

The MSP Comicon (formerly known as SpringCon), is one of the Midwest’s largest celebrations of comic book culture, it is a unique regional nexus of graphic literature and the wildly diverse communities that fuel it, produce it, and and ultimately consume it. Given the fact that the Midwest has a long standing and somewhat inexplicable reputation of producing a disproportionate number of working comic book & graphic literature professionals, including comic book writers, artists, inkers, etc., as well as being a breeder reactor for new and independent talent, it’s no wonder that FallCon has become one of the leading comic book conventions nationwide amongst the creative community, dealers and especially amongst the fans.
