Whether you’re a book reader or an author, the place you’ll want to be at the second annual Tucson Festival of Books on the University of Arizona campus. Events for Mom, Dad and all the kids - regardless of age - are scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. They include book signings with local, regional and nationally known authors, workshops for aspiring authors, poetry readings, book reviews and panel discussions. The UA Mall will be filled with vendors’ booths where you can buy books and other items and get information on a variety of literacy programs. Plus, there will be hands-on activities just for kids and other offerings for teens. Add to that, entertainment - music and dance - and food booths sponsored by some of Tucson\’s most popular restaurants. It’s going to be fun.
